First-Year Puppy Vaccinations
There's a GREAT video and information on AKC at the link listed below. We've also posted some of the info as text/images below to help give you a generalized idea. We include your puppies current deworming and shot dates in our puppy folders, as well as a recommended schedule, but obviously it is best to consult your veterinarian to determine what's best for your puppy based off of where you live.

PUPPY VACCINATION SCHEDULEThe first thing to know is that there is not just one puppy vaccination schedule for all dogs. Factors such as which part of the country you live in and your dog’s individual risk factors will come into play. Some dogs do not need every vaccine. This decision is between you and your veterinarian. Always discuss puppy vaccinations at your regularly scheduled appointments.
That said, here is a generally accepted guideline of the puppy vaccination schedule for the first year. |

If you're a first time puppy/dog owner, we do NOT encourage 2 puppies at the same time. Sometimes, experienced puppy/dog owners will decide to raise 2 at the same time as once, so we included this helpful video. The biggest issue we've had calls on, has been owners who decided to get 2 pups at the same time and not take the extra care to train them as individuals. While it's great to have 2 babies that grow up and play together, it's also important to realize that they will need some one-on-one time and that it's going to be double the work with 2 at the same time!
HOW TO TAPE EARS (IF NEEDED)
Most of our Pembroke Corgi Babies have their ears up by 10 weeks, but if you're getting concerned that your babies ears might not be coming up, here's some helpful information about Taping Ears.

There are many different ways of helping their ears stay up, the biggest trick is just continuing to help them until they stay standing on their own and being patient. Each puppy is different, some have thicker/heavier ears, some have thin ears and some have longer ears and because of this, they may need some help. Making sure your corgi is getting enough calcium helps a lot as well - so giving them a daily dollop of plain yogurt or even some cottage cheese in their food will help too. Once the ear or ears have stayed up for over 48 hours, you're usually good to go. If you are concerned, talk to your vet or breeder sooner rather than later. Some Corgis will wait until 5 months to get their ears up, but also, if you wait too long to that point, it may be too late to help them. My rule of thumb is 12 weeks, if they don't have their ears up by 3 months of age, it's time to give them a hand. If you're uncomfortable taping after reading and watching videos, speak to your veterinarian or maybe find a friend who's willing to come help you.
